Human Resource Development (HRD)

   In accordance with the National Training Policy- 2012 of Government of India based on the tenet of ‘competency-based training for all employees, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has been laying greater focus on Training and Capacity Building’ of all categories of employees (Scientific, Technical, Administrative including Finance and Stenographer Grades, and Skilled Support Staff) since 2014. At ICAR-CIRC Meerut a Human Resource Development (HRD) unit has been established in the year 2015 for coordination and effectively implementation of different training programmes. The Nodal Officer of HRD is entrusted to oversee various training functions including developing a system of training in the Institute; pursuing systematic approach to training; performing training needs analysis (TNA) of all categories of employees; developing annual training plan (ATP) based on TNA and monitoring and impact assessment of trainings etc. The annual training plans of CIRC addresses the gap between the existing and the required competencies and provides opportunities to the employees to develop their competencies.
