The DAPSC programme commenced from February 2019
at this Institute. This programme is being carried out at two locations in
Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Under this programme village bilkhet of
Kaljikhal Block in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand was selected which is
about 225 km away from the Institute. Being in the valley Bilkhet area is
receiving very less rainfall and the farmers were not able to grow crops due to
scarcity of water. They had left their agricultural fields abandoned and
migration of rural youth to towns and cities was at extreme. Elderly people
were staying in the villages and rearing 1-3 cattle with very less milk yield.
This Institute has signed a MoU with two other

activities for the welfare of scheduled caste community of these villages.
The another area is Village Shipura in Jani

to schedule caste community.
